About David Strome's Blog
Hi, I'm David and I'm a Senior Technical Writer on the Exchange Server User Education team here at Microsoft. I've worked at Microsoft and in Exchange since joining in 2005. On the team, I'm responsible for the core Exchange Management Shell content that you see in the TechCenter Library (all of the content under here - send me feedback!) in addition to providing guidance to fellow writers, developing Shell documentation standards and requirements, and working with the Exchange Server and Windows PowerShell development teams to improve Shell help in the product. I'm also responsible for several additional feature areas in E14 which haven't yet been announced.
I'm from Kamloops, a small-ish town in the southern interior of British Columbia, Canada. I've worked with Exchange since 1996, starting out with Exchange Server 5.0. E-mail has always been what drives me - from the day I received my VAX/VMS account and even before that, using Netmail on Fido-Net :). I'm married to an amazing woman and we have a cat who allows us to live with her. We see far more movies than is probably reasonable and enjoy going to concerts, the symphony and restaurants in the area.
