I have just deployed the agents to the servers and now am trying to configure the agent using ConfigureSharePoint. The console app is asking for an account and I am wondering which credentials I need to fill in.

So far I have been able to find that I need to use the SharePoint Farm service account and that this account needs to be local admin on the WFE servers. But this is something I absolutely do not want to do (security wise).

Is there any documentation available on how to configure DPM SP1 in combination with SharePoint??

Regards,

We installed DPM 2007 evaluation version on Windows server 2008, it's

working fine.

Now we plan to migrate DPM to another server so I need to export current

configurations to easy import to new server.

Any information to do it?

DPM 2006 is covered in WSUS but not DPM 2007. I have to read blogs like this in between running consistency checks all day to keep this software working. Whenever I call Microsoft support the answer is some unpublished hotfix, etc. Can we get some real support for this software?
