I stumbled across this website today (yes I know, I should have been aware of it since the launch but I've been busy). It is a Silverlight-animated launch site with loads of cool info and stuff about Windows Server 2008; someone in marketing definitely liked Transformers as a kid. The rap artist Ice Cube will be doing a free live concert on March 15th, 6 PM PST (UTC -8) at South by Southwest and that concert will be streamed live to the UVNTV.com site (Ice Cube and DJ Pooh’s new site for TV-on-the-Web). Afterwards, Ice Cube, the concert organisers, and the network streaming company will be doing "behind the scenes" interviews which will also be streamed over the Internet.

How does this relate to a Microsoft TechNet blog? Well, the concert will be streamed live over the Internet and presented via the cool Silverlight technology, that's how! It seems that this will be the first live concert presented in Silverlight so it is a pretty good way to start.
