&lt;p&gt;I think you and Microsoft should clarify that both ASP.NET and ASP must be installed. If ASP is omitted your reporting point will not function.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It is not a requirement for Server 2008 or ConfigMgr 2007 to be running on a domain controller for ConfigMgr 2007 to install on Server 2008. I just add this step in as all servers in my lab are domain controllers&lt;/p&gt;
