Roundtable for Carbon Footprint reduction
The roundtable device is a 360 degree camera with conference phone. When 2 are placed in conference rooms far apart, people who normally would have to travel quite a distance can meet, talk, and see each other thru this high fidelity device. At what cst you may ask..250,000? no, 150000?..no, 50,000?..no..actually they are 3,000. Paid for by a couple meetings worth of saved plane tickets. This is one of my favorite parts of Microsoft..taking technology which has been pricey, and making it so it can be democratized and used by many.
