Displaying customer presentations in 2d too limiting? Try a spherical presentation surface

Much ado has been made about Surface http://www.microsoft.com/surface/index.html , but displaying and manipulating data via touch on a flat scereen or wall is mundane next to the idea of projecting the information onto a sphere for manipulation. Imagine your customer information or portfolios displayed on a sphere which can be rotated and moved for 2 way interaction with a customer support person..more ideas welcome, see what Microsoft research has been up to here: http://research.microsoft.com/~benko/projects/sphere/.
