Truspace 7.6 for 3D web development available for Download (Outstanding Customer Experience means 3 Dimensions)
The customer experience space is developing quickly. In previous posts we've discussed the impact of Microsoft Surface in the retail space, and in fact as I was passing thru Vegas, there on a larger than life video billboard (arent they all in Vegas?) was an ad for Surface at the RIO...
On the web things are progressing just as quickly. Several months ago, Microsoft acquired Caligari with their advanced 3D toolset trueSpace. Starting TODAY, trueSpace 7.6 is available for download for FREE. In addition you can connect these with Live Search Maps for location specific 3D locations. Plus this adds a richness to the online experience, such as the ability to walk thru an online Bank to do your banking, and view/transact with kiosks of information as they would be displayed in a bank as opposed to hunting things down in 2D trees of information. The same can be said for creating an insurance experience, whether a new policy, added provisions, or starting a claim with the ability to map it out in 3D as to location and objects related to the claim.
And of course the applications to manufacturing and process/plant floor automation are clear..
In corporate education, you can create a real experience as part of training, selecting on objects or videos to start scenarios.
How?
