BAI time again

The annual retail banking conference is underway, Day 1 featured Alan Greenspan and Steve Forbes Jr keynoting in seperate presentations.

Of note..Alan Greenspan ascribes the current subprime loan debacle to the end of the Cold War.

Steve Forbes main concern is Congressional regulation backlash making the situation worse by opening up more litigation opportunities for upside down homeowners, which would cause further retrenchment in the underwriting algorithms for loans.

Las Vegas is actually a perfect backdrop for this event..heavy risk takers lose their shirt, conservative players live to play another day...

On to day 2 and the many vendor solution presentations on the floor, including 5 new Banking solutions from Microsoft.

Details to follow...stay tuned..(shouldn't I drop a commercial in here? :) )
