Scaling MSCRM in Financial Services – New Benchmark from Avanade
Proper planning, monitoring and tuning are critical to successful CRM project deployments. While varying database volumes, workload profiles, indexing, and hardware specifications might yield different user capacity than that shown in this study; Avanade has recently conducted a similar benchmark which reinforces Microsoft CRM’s ability to support large datasets; high transaction loads and number of users in excess of 3,000. In that test, performed for a large European financial institution based on their specific data load and projected transaction rates, Avanade demonstrated that Microsoft CRM would support 5,000 users with a single installed instance of Microsoft CRM. Avanade has prepared a white paper on this test as well.
