Jeff GilbertI'm a senior technical writer on the Configuration Manager 2007 user assistance team. I've worked with the Configuration Manager product group in Redmond since 2005. Before joining Microsoft, I was an active duty Army domain and SMS 2.0 administrator and then civilian contractor administering an SMS 2003 site hierarchy for a large Army installation in Georgia.

The areas that I've worked on with Configuration Manager include: setup, server infrastructure, inventory, backup and recovery, SQL Server integration, Asset Intelligence, performance, and all of the supported configurations and upgrade checklists.

In addition to contributing to the product documentation, I worked with my manager (Steve Kaczmarek) and team to co-author the popular MSPress book Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Administrator's Companion.
