Slow news day at InformationWeek results in dumb Windows 7 article
Paul McDougall should be ashamed of himself. Basically he creates an article and ambiguous headline about the fact that Georgetown University doesn’t want Windows 7 Beta installed on school-owned computers.
Duh!
He’s getting pummeled in the comments, and rightly so – this was just grade-school, sensationalistic journalism.
Let me give you the skinny:
1. Do evaluate Windows 7 Beta. It’s the bomb, and a great follow-on to Windows Vista in my humble (albeit biased) opinion :)
2. Don’t put Windows 7 Beta on anything other than test machines, and only with the permission of your IT department.
Stick with me, I’ll always give you the 411.
