The Pub Quiz Generation Gap
So, Wednesday night for me when I'm not traveling usually involves a couple of Guinness and entry into my local pub quiz. Run by DJ Kev "The Big Cheese" at the Sneyd Arms, Sneyd Green in Stoke-on-Trent, it's always fun and my regular team usually make the top three places when it comes to ranking up.
However, every week you get to swap papers with another team to do the marking - Now, I'm not one to smirk at others misfortune but their intellect, why not!!!
So, alongside questions such as "Do Tigers have striped fur or striped skin?" and "Which of Jesus's Disciples was the treasurer?" my favourite question of the night was "Which twins opened a venue in London known as The R&R Club?"
For any British born male over a certain age, this is a real easy question to answer. Whilst infamous, these guys had their life made into a film played by the Kemp brothers and their initials were indeed R & R.
To be fair, we marked the paper of a team consisting of members a whole lot younger...but, haven't laughed so much in a long time...the answer on the paper we marked...The Cheeky Girls :)
P.S. Which cartoon character is an anagram of 'SO PRIM NAGS ME'?
