Up in smoke, absolutely modulus, and how I am not going to write you a love song....
I grew up partly in the 70's. Every now and then a radio station would play a snippet of a Cheech and Chong album. My mom snuck me in to see Up in Smoke when I was 13. I have seen all of the movies and used to have many of the C and C albums. I have always enjoyed their comedy and always wanted to see them in concert. But when they "broke up" many years ago I thought that was the end of it. I have since seen Tommy Chong in concert and was fortunate enough that my wife and I got autographs and pictures with Tommy and his wife.
Now Cheech and Chong are back to do a tour and I get my chance to see them. I picked up tickets today for a show coming up in Seattle. It will be interesting to hear how they interact with each other after so many years.
After I picked up my tickets online, I did some general cruising around and stumbled on a site with some great pics of some XBox 360 case mods. I have always wanted to do something like this but I just don't think it is in my skill set. One thing I have seriously considered is gutting one of the Apple //e's I have in my basement and shoving the guts of an XBox 260 inside.
Finally, I picked up tickets for another show today as well. I turned my wife onto Sara Bareilles some months ago and now it all I get to hear. She has been bugging me to get tickets to a show for a while now so I picked those up today as well. She will be playing at the Moore theater in Seattle which is a fantastic venue. We saw KT Tunstall there a few months ago.
Next week I am posting a couple screen casts on IIS, FTP, and Virtualization.
Cheers!
