&lt;p&gt;I have seen the warning (no external calls) in some installations in OC after we installed the Edge server. It was only a test installation so we did not open the external firewall and we did not try to do any external calling. Is it doing some kind of check if it is possible to connect to public internet?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It really depends on the context of where you are seeing this error. Generally it means that it cannot find the Media Relay Authentication Server (MRAS) which resides on the Edge Server.&lt;/p&gt;
