Overview

Microsoft’s Business Process Management and Integration Conference is the event for our partners, customers and field personnel to get up to speed on new and updated solutions for Business Process Management (BPM), SOA and Workflow. Over 4 days, attendees will learn about the strategies and technologies that Microsoft is delivering over the next year, such as BizTalk Server, WinFX, and Office 2007. Three technical tracks will provide depth and detail into best practices for building BPM solutions, SOA guidance, and implementing BizTalk Server. Announcing new European event concept for 2006 - Tech Ed: Developer and Tech Ed: IT Forum

For a number of years we organized Tech Ed Europe (target audience 50% developers, 50% IT professionals) in the first week of July and Microsoft IT Forum (100% IT professionals) in the third week of November.

In 2006 we will organize the following 2 technical events:

Tech Ed: Developers (week November 6th, CCIB Barcelona, Spain)
Tech Ed: IT Forum (week November 13th, CCIB Barcelona, Spain)

Tech Ed: Developers will be a deep-dive technical event addressing the specific requirements of developers.
Tech Ed: IT Forum will be replacing IT Forum but will retain its focus on IT professionals and their distinctive needs. This is just a slight change in branding.

New Security Communication from Microsoft Switzerland

In order to ease the interaction with you in regards to security we introduce two new interactive communication channels. The first new offering is our Security Patch Chat which we will host the Friday after the release of our security updates on the second Tuesday in the month. This chat will be held monthly and will take place from 09:00 - 10:00 (CET). The goal is to answer your questions in regards to the patches. The next chat is scheduled for October 14, 2005. Questions can be asked in German and English and will be answered in the corresponding language.

The second offering are Security Webcasts which will cover hot topics in the area of security. The webcasts will be held every first Wednesday in the month starting at 16:00 (CET) and will last 1 hour max. The November Security Webcast will be held on November 2, 2005 and will cover the topic of "Protection of Data with Rights Management". The webcasts will be held in German.
