Writer Zone: Introducing Windows Live Writer

Today's posts seem to be following a theme.  Stephen's post just finished telling you about Windows Live Mail Desktop Beta, and now here I am telling you about Windows Live Writer.

For those of you that maintain a blog, or after reading Richard Giles' interview are interested in starting one, here is a tool that I have been using for a while to compose and publish all the posts to the Canadian IT Managers Blog.

The team over at the Writer Zone can do a much better job of explaining exactly what you can do with this tool, so take a look at their post: Writer Zone: Introducing Windows Live Writer.

All I can add is that I love using this tool and it makes updating this blog very easy to do.

Enjoy,
Barnaby

Hey, Barnaby.

I've downloaded and written three posts today with the new Microsoft tool. Too bad downloading templates from Blogger isn't support by Google yet. Nor does Blogger like images sent by Live Writer.

That's OK. I can compose in Live Writer and add the photos online until Google gets its act together and starts updating the aging Blogger API.
