[Podcast] Graham Jones on IT Volunteering

At the recent MVP Summit I got a chance to sit down and talk with Graham Jones, an MVP and the president of VANTUG about something he has been working on with fellow MVP Stephen Ibaraki.  With the help of a few other key individuals, they have built ITVolunteering.org and are currently in a large project with the Surrey Food Bank.  Being involved in the Kid's Help Phone project here in Toronto, I was happy that our converstion turned to volunteering and what IT Professionals can do to help.

Take a listen and check out the website.  Volunteering is a great way to get experience and learn new skills while helping others who need it most.  This is one way we can help out and partly answers the question another Canadian MVP, Mitch Garvis, wanted to ask Bill Gates at the summit but never got the chance to.  You can check out Mitch's question here.
