No need to open a support incident to receive Hotfix
Microsoft has eased the process of requesting hotfixes. You no longer have to wait to open a support ticket; talk to a representative for requesting the hotfix.
You can do it yourself now!!!
How? Just go to http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=6516433 and enter the following information:
- Country of residence
- KB Article Number
- Platform [x86/x64/ia64]
- Product Language
- Your Email Address
Once you submit the request, you should be receiving an email with the link to download the hotfix.
Now this is a lot simpler.
