My colleagues Clint Huffman, Holger Hatzfeld, and Herbert Mauerer updated the pagefile sizing recommendations.  Anyone that architects or manages a 64-bit Windows O.S., should take a look.

The myths:

1.5X the amount of RAM.

RAM+100 MB

RAM+50 MB

RAM+10 MB

RAM+1 MB
