  • Good One.

  • I'm trying to convert my Vmware Player VMs to Hyper-V on Win8. Any tool for that? MVMC wants to connect to an ESX server and that's not my cenario here.

  • Same here is there a way to do this without ESX servers installed? I have a vmdk image from VirtualBox that I need to convert.

  • Yes, use the command line version of the tool called MVDC.exe

  • You can use a CMD command, and u dont need the ESX server. Example.... in c:\Program Files\Microsoft Converter Accelerator.....\ MVDC.exe c:\source.vmdk c:\destination.vhd... Works like a charm ;)
