Strange, that a month wasn't enough to coincide publishing SP1 to WSUS with public availability of SP1 on March 18.

When I didn't find it synced in WSUS, this blog was the primary source of info, and it was silent for a day.

I didn't find Windows Vista Sp1 after i synced the WSUS 3.0. What ist the Problem

make sure you have service pack downloads selected, and vista selected as a product.

also make sure you have it download express files even when not approved. that was my problem.

i dont have vista sp1 via wsus yet.  does anyone?  whats the old up?

yo need an hotfix if wsus is on win2003

WSUS will also do not find/download SP1 for Vista if this hotfix is installed (also this Hotix is applied by WSUS itself)

You can manually add SP1 for Vista, but this manuall Update will not supersede any older Vista Hotfix automatically.

I have same problem. I successfully imported SP1 from catalogue and approved it for instalation but vista computers still not detect SP1 on WSUS.

WSUS hotfix KB 938759 is installed too
