Hello folks, Yuri Diogenes here – late post this Friday just to give you a quick update from our friend Albina Soboleva that was at TechED Russia couple of weeks ago. Here it goes some words from Albina:

I had an amazing time in Russia during TechEd and MVP Open Days events. I had chance to speak with various community members and MVPs, discuss content issues, present our Wiki initiative and meet with very interesting people.

During our discussions one trend I noticed is that everybody mentioned, we need one resource where all knowledge can be gathered. Wiki should be a good place for this purpose, considering that we make some improvements to it.

Not many people knew about TechNet Wiki and I am happy that I had this opportunity to tell them about Wiki and the initiative we are running.

I think it was really important for community to see that people from Microsoft stepped forward with suggestions and proposals for improvements. We need to make sure that we stay connected to the users, this will help us all in a long run.

Our great friend Tom Shinder was also there and next week it will be released an interview that he recorded with the Enterprise Security MVP Consumer Security MVP Alex Trofimov from Russia. The interview will be available on the From End to Edge and Beyond Security Talk Show Episode 12.

Last but not least I want to mention the previous post from Ed Price where he talks about the top Wiki Ninjas of the Week - Thiago Luiz's Portuguese (Brazil) Virtualization Portal. Great job Thiago and all other folks from Brazil that are on this list. The contribution from you all were very important. Brazilian community already reached more than 1000 articles in PT-BR at TechNet Wiki (in less than one year of contribution). Amazing work folks, keep it up!
