re: Cannot Select Option for Branch Distribution Point in a Native Mode Site

I have come across another scenario where the option to Enable the BDP is greyed out. I have the client installalled "correctly" but if i look at the components i find that the Software Distribution Agent and Software Updates Agent are both "Disabled". Policy has applied correctly as all other settings are correct, e.g running in Mixed Mode and Always intranet, however the option to install a BDP is not there.

The only solution in this case is to uninstall and re-install the client.

I had this on a number of server class devices and had to re-install in each case.
