A couple of weeks ago, you might recall, I mentioned that I'd added a couple of new web-based search tools from Windows Live to the left-hand menu of the blog.

Well, as you might've noticed, they're gone now.

It turns out that the Windows Live tools clash with IE7 to the point that they cripple the comment mechanism.  Telligent is working on a solution.

How did I discover this?  Well, Rob Garrison left a comment last night (Rob is obviously not using IE7) suggesting that we meet up for lunch tomorrow.  I spent most of the morning trying to respond to it with no joy.  I assumed it was an artifact of the relatively low bandwidth of the PASS wireless network, but a quick email to the miraculous Jana Carter confirmed the true nature of the issue.

So, until the issue is resolved, we're back to the generic Telligent search functionality.

And I'm off of writing HTML for the foreseeable future.
