This is a pretty cool idea..

Microsoft has recently announced an opportunity for you to get a substantial audience for that wild-hare software and/or mechanical device development concept that's been rattling around your brain.  The grand prize is a cool US$10,000.

The Made In Express Contest is a three-phase developement contest.  In phase one, you pitch your concept -- what you'd develop, and how Microsoft's Express products would contribute to the effort.  In phase, two, the lucky dozen finalists will get to build their ideas and chronicle their progress in a blog.  Finally, the results will be judged by a panel of distinguished judges.  The full skinny on the rules is here.

So..  get your propellors spinning, and if you enter because you found out about it here, please be sure to let me know! :)

  • I first blogged on this contest way back in March..  well, the twelve finalists have been selected,...

  • I last blogged on this contest a couple of weeks ago, as well as in March and in June.
