Did you think that VHD files were only for Virtualization ? In this screen cast you can see the different ways that Windows 7 / Server 2008 R2 can use VHD files, this will show different ways that we can configure boot from VHD, how we can work with VHD files from the command line and GUI, and even how you can access the files in a full image backup VHD file.
Sliverlight video doesnt seem to work for me, anyway
I can't seem to get the video, I have a question. How can I get a local VHD on windows 2008 to auto/attach or mount when system is rebooted. I want to connect an ISCSI external SAN ,creat a RAID 6 Array and populate it with VHD's. Now I stuck because if the system reboots the shared volumes won't be mounted. Is there any solution for this?
