It been coming for a while but it has finally hit the floor! SoftGrid 4.1 has now an official Service pack that will support core functions such as SxS applications that have public assemblies which will allow you to sequence some great products such as Microsoft Office 2007.

This has just released the KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938497/en-us

What's my upgrade path then?

For the client 3.2, 4.0, and 4.1 can be upgraded directly.

4.1 SP1 Client Upgrades

For the Server  Components 3.1, 3.2, 4.0 or 4.1 have upgrade paths.

The Sequencer can not be upgraded directly. Please reinstall the new Sequencer onto your base build.

Version 3.2.2.8 and up are Microsoft supported versions of SoftGrid, anything prior is supported with commercially reasonable effort through 2009.

Version 4.1.0.56 and up are Microsoft supported versions of SoftGrid anything prior is supported with commercially reasonable effort through 2009.

We strongly recommend upgrading to 4.1 SP1.
