I didn't understand if it needs special hardware on the client side...

and can I access remotely (with RemoteFX) using unix based devices ?

lets say I want to use it with an android based tablet ? will it work ?

if not , will it at least work with the surface ?

i have seen the Hardware configuration of VM, Dispaly tab there is option up to 1,2,3,4 is this for four display output is that for four monitor

Will RemoteFX Support for sharing Scanner and Camera Attached on a Cleint Machine (Win. 7 SP1) and sharing them to Virtual Windows Server 2008 R2 at a remote Loation (Amazon EC2 Server)?

How can we share Scanner/Camera attached on cleint machine with Amazon Windows Server R2 by using RemoteFX? Please help.

Not all OpenGL applications work. Microsoft states that "RemoteFX will support certain OpenGL applications." I have tried a few clinical applications that leverage OpenGL, with out any luck. If the application is DirectX, you should be fine, provided the application doesnt need more than 400MB video RAM.

I feel that RemoteFX is a great step forward, but still not ready for prime-time. If they could provide full support for OpenGL (likely licenseing/dev issue with SGI) and allow for more video RAM per VM, I think this product would be ready. I am excited to see how this technology develops!

Will RemoteFX work in RemoteApp where there isn't a real desktop delivery?

Currently, Aero support is not possbiel trough RemoteApp
