System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 - VMM 2008 - Compares to VMware Virtual Center :: Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 - Compares to VMware Server ::Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 - compares to VMWare Workstation / VMWare Fusion.

These two are so simlar it could be confusing though.

Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V & Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008. I'm guess the difference is the first on is a role or core install, and the second is going to be a dedicated install like ESX?

Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008

The Microsoft Virtualization Team blog has news about the upcomming releases of Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008 and System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008.
