This is my first entry into the blogging space.  I recognize that my perspective on technology evolves along with technology.  I hope to get feedback from readers to create a shared industry perspective.  My role at Microsoft allows me to develop and share that perspective with retail business professionals as well as IT professionals around the world.

With this blog I will share what I feel are compelling topics related to driving retail business processes with a focus on technology.  I intend to build on the foundational belief that technology enables business.  Blog entries will be about the strategy involved in bridging the gap between innovation and implementation.  My focus will be on Microsoft solutions and partners that build on Microsoft technologies.

Strategic initiatives often involve course corrections which can lead to further innovation in current products.  I hope that retail professionals will find value from my perspective and share their own.  Together we can move the retail industry forward on many fronts.
