If you are a partner who has an application development practice around Windows Phone I am sure you are thrilled with the changes coming in Windows Phone 8.  Last week we made some major announcements that can be found here.

One such change is the new start screen.  I have a few screen shots below borrowed from the aforementioned post.

The new Start sceen in Windows Phone 8 is even more flexible, with more theme colors and three sizes of Live Tiles  The new Start sceen in Windows Phone 8 is even more flexible, with more theme colors and three sizes of Live Tiles.  The new Start sceen in Windows Phone 8 is even more flexible, with more theme colors and three sizes of Live Tiles.

Please read to post above for more information on the new start screen to include an introductory video!

When you couple the enhancements coming in WP8 such as In-app purchase (we make it possible for app makers to sell virtual and digital goods within their apps) with the latest announcement coming from TechEd Europe regarding the number of Markets where Windows Phone 8 will be available you have a recipe for revenue throttling like never before!

Yesterday, Todd Brix announced on the Windows Phone Developer Blog in a post titled “First look at the Windows Phone 8 Marketplace” that WP8 will be made available in  the below 180 countries.  Staggering! This represents a two fold increase over the 63 markets served today.  As Todd said “more ways to make money”.

The Windows Phone Marketplace and AppHub for developers are coming to more countries and regions for Windows Phone 8.

You might want to jump on the bandwagon now.  I see $$ in the future for all involved!
