A blog series on U.S. Partner developer training.

With 525 million Windows 7 licenses sold, millions of people await Windows 8 apps. To make your app idea come to life, participate in a four-day 30 to Launch event in Los Angeles or Philadelphia. This event will tour more cities this year. For updates, check back at http://aka.ms/usdevelopertraining or follow the Microsoft User Community on Twitter.

App Challenge

Present a prototype of your Windows 8 app during the last session in your city. If your app meets our quality criteria, you’ll receive a token to register your account and then submit your app to the Windows Store. You’ll also have an opportunity to win great prizes!* To be eligible for a prize you must attend at least the first and last sessions. Read the official rules.
