There are many technical certifications available to you to “credential” your skills – MCITP, MCAS, MCDBA, the list goes on.
But what about sales certifications? For sales professionals out there, the Microsoft Sales Specialist program is now available to you.
Here are the details: The Microsoft Sales Specialist program is a new initiative created to help you and your company stay ahead of the competition. You will gain knowledge that will help you offer sound advice to your customers, and in turn help them grow their businesses.
Why become a Sales Specialist? This designation will help you accelerate your sales, increase your earning potential, and differentiate your skills.
The beauty of this certification-like program is that it is 100% free to members of the Microsoft Partner Network. Once you pass, you receive a certificate and exclusive access to display the Sales Specialist accreditation on your e-mail signature.
Get started now.
As a bonus, the first 450 partners to complete the Sales Specialist Program and qualify for the designation receive a $25 American Express gift card. Official rules here.
Has anyone out there already completed the Virtualization Sales Specialist program? Any suggestions for how we can improve or add to the Sales Specialist program?
Great Program and well rounded exam topics. It is definetely a nice designation to hold.
Wow - thanks Derrek, appreciate that feedback! Do you already have the designation? Have you seen positive outcomes as a result?
Completed the virtualization training and assessment - and was delayed with numerous Microsoft learning site problems. Having finally completed the two assessments almost a week ago, the sites are still not showing the completion, and I have not been able to get a response from the Microsoft support team. It's too bad, as the content was good, and I might consider more similar training if things would just work, and if there is a problem, a prompt Microsoft response. I'll also add that opening endless new IE Windows, rather than a new tab (hey we DO have tabbed browsing) is not very user friendly!
Hi Randy - Can you e-mail us at psdcerts <at> microsoft.com? Would like to get your issues resolved for you.
