We hope all of you walked away with tons of great information and inspiration after last week’s World Partner Conference. There were so many big announcements that even those of us who tuned in from our desks caught the excitement. Seeing where Microsoft’s big bets are for the upcoming year and how you can grow your business are another great opportunity to keep up on your learning. Here are some of our favorites:

  • Windows 7 – In his keynote Bill Veghte announced a new Windows 7 economic impact report released by IDC Research today, and revealed new Windows 7 partner offers and opportunities. More details are available on the Windows Team blog.
  • Microsoft Office 2010 – Stephen Elop announced that Office 2010 and related products have reached its technical preview milestone. As part of his keynote he also introduced new features in Office 2010 and highlighted the increased opportunity these products represent for the partner community. Office 2010 and related products will be available in the first half of 2010.
  • Software Plus Services – Microsoft Charts New Paths for Partners
  • BizTalk Server 2009 – We announced that multiple editions are now available: BizTalk Server 2009 Enterprise Runtime Edition, BizTalk Server 2009 Standard Runtime Edition, and BizTalk Server 2009 RFID.
