According to technet.microsoft.com/.../ee681559%28WS.10%29.aspx, it can be used with Windows Server 2003. So who in M$ is correct?????

I want to have USMT installed on my n Windows Server 2003 (x64) box and then run that from the XP client (x86).

Which architecture should I install on the server 63 or 32 bit?

I have install USMT 3.01 on a Windows 2003 R2 SP2 server without any problem. I do get an error when I try to install it on a Windows 2008 server. My question to the Team is:

There is any way to install it on a WIndows 2008 Server (not to scanstate its user's profile, but to huse along with MDT 2008)?

It isn't possible to use USMT to migrate the local profiles, however Windows Server 2008 does have built in upgrade functionality as Windows Vista does.

So it is not possible to upgrade a Windows 2003 Terminal Server to a new Windows Server 2008 Terminal Server and keep local profiles ?
