 If you&amp;rsquo;ve received an unsolicited phone</description><dc:language>en-US</dc:language><generator>Telligent Evolution Platform Developer Build (Build: 5.6.50428.7875)</generator><item><title>re: Phone Scammers: Here to Help…Themselves</title><link>http://blogs.technet.com/b/trustworthycomputing/archive/2011/11/28/phone-scammers-here-to-help-themselves.aspx#3568357</link><pubDate>Mon, 22 Apr 2013 20:02:38 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">d5e57398-b9ef-4490-9955-07cbb4e4a80d:3568357</guid><dc:creator>Maggie</dc:creator><description>&lt;p&gt;I presume Windows or Microsoft would never call &amp;nbsp;to a user on a phone showing the phone#000-000-000 and no name. &amp;nbsp;I received a call today from someone supposedly from Windows and they stated that Windows had seen activity on my computer showing I had been hacked and then he asked me to turn my computer on so he could tell me what to do. &amp;nbsp;I asked him for his phone number that he was calling from and he gave the number 449-168-5300 to me. He wanted to know if I was going to turn my computer on and let him tell me what to do &amp;nbsp;and I told him, no I will take care of it myself. &amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I thought Microsoft Windows should maybe post on facebook and to the general public that they do not do this type of calling.&lt;/p&gt;
