re: IT audits, COBIT, and using business intelligence in SharePoint 2010

Saw your post on our new book around governing SharePoint using COBIT 4.1 . I will be very ineterested to hear what you think of the approach we developed.

Our book was developed because we kept getting asked "How can we control SharePoint - it is growing too fast within our organization." We looked long and hard for a good framework and COBIT 4.1 is the best we found anywhere for governing IT systems. It is also a world-wide standard that is constantly updated. It will also satisfy internal auditors (we are both CISA's).

We are on the Office 2010 TAP and developed a replacement for Salesforce.Com using SharePoint 2010 that will run in BPOS for a national company with 700 sales guys. I used a lot of that real world experience to make sure the book would serve people looking at SharePoint 2010 and "the cloud" as well.
