David: We need a little more information to try to help you. Did you get any errors on the GA check? Did you install with admin permissions? Are you logged in with an account that has admin permissions?

Installed the tools but they aren't visible in Administrative Tools on my Vista SP1.

Any ideas?

Blake, you are right, Vista users have not been able to use Admin Pack tools. Most of the RSAT tools work for Server 2003, so now admins can move to Vista and admin both Server 2003 and 2008 (for most tasks).

There will not be an update of Admin Pack tools for XP users to admin Server 2008.

Huh? The "Windows Server 2003 Administration Tools Pack" never worked on Windows Vista.

Great Timing. Just looking for when the tools would be out, and low and behold here they are.
