If you’ve been thinking about migrating to IPv6 , the Cable Guy explains how you can use an IPv6 transition technology to get started. Using the tunneled IPv6 connectivity that ISATAP provides, hosts can communicate using IPv6 traffic that is encapsulated with an IPv4 header. ISATAP traffic can traverse an IPv4-only intranet, so you can begin testing IPv6-capable applications immediately, without having to wait until you have a native IPv6 infrastructure in place.
