Hi
Everyone,

I’ve just released the new “Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V Component Architecture Poster"  and the new "Hyper-V Mini-Posters” to the Microsoft download center.

I’ve introduced some new functionality for this poster. You can download each component of the poster separately and just print the pieces you need. In addition, each piece has a Microsoft Tag, so you can use your smart phone to scan and connect directly to the latest Tech Net content.

Oh, if you’re running Windows 8, drop by the Windows Store and grab your free copy of Posterpedia. Posterpedia is a Windows 8 app that my colleague, Brain Lich, and I created. It allows you to carry all Microsoft posters around with you on your Windows 8 tablet or Windows 8 PC and links you with the latest TechNet content. The new version will be available soon and is updated with a lot of new content!

What does this one contain? It provides a visual reference for understanding key Hyper-V technologies in Windows Server 2012 R2 and focuses on Generation 2 virtual machines, Hyper-V with virtual hard disk sharing, online virtual hard disk resizing, storage quality-of-service, enhanced session mode, live migration, Hyper-V failover clustering, and upgrading your private cloud.

You can get your free copy of the poster and mini-posters here:

Enjoy….and thanks for all the awesome feedback. It’s appreciated.

Martin
