It's springtime in Redmond, and SharePoint MCM Rotation 8 is underway here in Building 40. We're hosting our largest rotation to date - an intense, great group of MVPs, Partner consultants and architects, MCS consultants and architects, and Premier field engineers. Please wish them the best for the coming weeks... our coffee machine and soft drink cooler are pulling hard for them already.

We've had quite a few community members complete their certifications in the past few months, and some who only recently chose to grant me permission to share news of their certifications publicly:

  • Alex Bacchin (R7) is a technical consultant at Dimension Data Australia. He has been working with SharePoint technologies since 2005.
  • Blair Bigger (U1) is a Senior Premier Field Engineer on the US Public Sector - DOD Joint Commands and Agencies Team based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
  • Denis Heliszkowski (U1) is a regional Architect in MCS Western Europe Headquarters. He owns the SharePoint capabilities in WE Complex Delivery Team. His main task is to engage with sales and delivery teams in Microsoft subsidiaries across Western Europe, and help them in the pre-sales and delivery of complex and strategic projects.
  • Elaine van Bergen (R7) is employed at OBS in Melbourne, Australia as a SharePoint Architect where her focus is on delivering SharePoint solutions that satisfy customer requirements in a manner that is consistent with Microsoft best practices.
  • Gerald de Run (R7) is a Senior Consultant for Microsoft Consulting Services in Melbourne, Australia. He has worked with Australian Government Agencies and Forbes Global 2000 Companies assisting them with the successful deployment of SharePoint and other Microsoft technologies.
  • Mario Fulan (R3 - SharePoint 2007) is a managing architect for Information Control Corporation in Ohio (www.iccohio.com). Mario works with large and small customers to implement solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Miguel Wood (R6) is a Principal Consultant and the National Practice Lead for SharePoint Solutions for Statera. He is also President and CEO of TekFocus. He resides in Dallas, TX.
  • Radi Atanassov (R6) is a very enthusiastic SharePoint Architect working independently out of Australia and Europe. Radi works with different teams across the world and provides expertise, training and high-quality custom development services.
  • Todd Carter (U1) is a Principal Premier Field Engineer at Microsoft. You can reach him at his blog, http://todd-carter.com or on Twitter @Toddca.

Congratulations everyone! A huge "well done" to you all, and for those who are first-time MCMs - welcome! I hope to see many more names from R8 (and U1, R5, R6, and R7) in the next post...
