The Microsoft Language Portal has been updated with terminology and UI translations from scores of international Microsoft products that have released over the last few months.

The newly added products (or newly added languages for existing products) will help you globalize and localize products quickly, efficiently and to the same style, tone and terminology standards as in localized Microsoft products. Four new languages have been added: Mongolian, Dari, Turkmen and UK English.

The updated data is accessible via the online search, the downloadable Microsoft Terminology Collection (TBX format) and the UI translations (SW TMs) available in CSV format to MSDN/TechNet subscribers.

• Windows 7: Includes the terminology and UI translations for 26 “Language Interface Pack” (LIP) languages to release in the last few months. The data now includes most of the languages available on the Windows Language site. A couple of completely new languages have been added: Dari (Afghanistan) and Mongolian (Cyrillic, Mongolia)
• Office 2010: Includes the first Language Interface Pack languages to release for Office 2010: Urdu, Uzbek, Norwegian Nynorsk, Macedonian, Irish, Icelandic, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Malay, Albanian and Tamil. • Windows Phone 7: The first 5 languages to release have been added: UK English, French, Italian, Spanish and German.
• Internet Explorer 9: 39 languages added. To install Internet Explorer 9 for your language, check the Internet Explorer 9 download site.
• Xbox 360: 10 major languages added: French, Italian, German, Spanish, Chinese Traditional, Chinese Simplified, Korean, Japanese, Russian and Brazilian.
• Dynamics NAV 2009 R2: 40 languages added.
• Dynamics AX: 20 languages added.
• Exchange Server 2010: 65 languages added.
