The Office 2010 Language Interface Pack for Vietnamese is now available for free download!

A Language Interface Pack allows you to change the user interface in the following Office 2010 applications: Excel, OneNote, InfoPath, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word. The pack includes a spell checker and is available for both 32-bit and 64-bit systems.

A COUPLE OF FACTS ABOUT VIETNAMESE:

• Vietnamese is the official and administrative language of Vietnam where it is mainly spoken, but there is also a significant number of Vietnamese speakers in the USA, China, Cambodia, France, Australia, Laos, Canada and other countries. The language is spoken by about 80 million people in total.
• Vietnamese was originally written with a Chinese-like script. Chinese language also influenced vocabulary, grammar and the early literature of Vietnamese. During the 17th century, Roman Catholic missionaries introduced a Latin-based orthography for Vietnamese. The two forms of script were used in parallel until the early 20th century. Today, only the Latin-based orthography is practically used.
