Just wanted to come back on a comment from maansar from a couple of weeks ago:

With nearly 230 million total speakers, Bengali is one of the most spoken languages (ranking fifth or sixth in the world). Bengali is the primary language spoken in Bangladesh and is the second most spoken language in India.

But unfortunately Bengali is missing from Microsoft_Terminology_20070130. Why is this and when it will be included?

The file “Microsoft_Terminology_20070130” at  http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/tools/MILSGlossary.mspx is unfortunately an old file that we still have not removed. It has been replaced by the online search tool at http://www.microsoft.com/language/xx/xx/search.mspx  where you should be able to search for Bengali terms. In addition, the Bengali Style Guides are now available at http://www.microsoft.com/language/xx/xx/download.mspx

You can also download Bengali Windows "LIP" (to run on top of English Windows) from the MS download site. Read a bit more on Rob Margel's blog.

Also check for more info on Bengali at the BhashaIndia web site
