One of our TechNet presenters, Michael Murphy, just launched a new web radio show called "IT Heroes".Murphy's the Man. He's one of our star webcast presenters on TechNet. When we were kicking around the TechNet Radio plan a year ago, I had discussed having a host who could make the show engaging- and I always used Murphy as an example. Now he ran off without us and started one of his own!!
Here's how Michael explains the new show: "IT Heroes: Stories fron the Trenches, these are the real stories of men and women in IT making a difference everyday. We talk with authors, innovators and implementers about emerging technologies, troubleshooting and remediation of common infrastructure issues and charitable contributions in the community. We seek to educate and provide a forum for open discussion of the many uses for and specific ways in which people are everyday exploiting technology to create opportunities for themselves and others."
Check out Murphy's post about "IT Heroes".
Here's the full first 20-min. show, on SQL Server 2005 just in time for the launch. Bill Zack Interview
I tell ya, it's an exciting time to be working on internet media stuff, with webcasts and podcasts and blogcasts all around. I need to write my post about my history with this stuff, and the evolution I've seen over 14 years at Microsoft. More later...
