TechNet Webcasts are already free. But it gets better. We want you to experience Microsoft content via webcasts so bad that we're giving away 10 Portable Media Centers per month now through November 2005. These toys are cool. We even pre-load them with some of our best webcasts for you. Who wants to watch a movie when you can watch a TechNet webcast and learn about Active Directory?
Here's the deal: you watch a TechNet webcast (or other Microsoft program like MSDN, Microsoft Executive Circle, or Security webcast programs), and fill out an evaluation telling us what you thought of the webcast. You're then entered to win. Every time you participate in a webcast, you're entered again. Watch 32 webcasts and submit evaluations, get entered 32 times. Better odds than the lottery for sure. At the end of the month, ten lucky winners are pulled from the hat, and voila, media glory on the go.
If you want to see the fine print about this promotion because you really like the legal stuff, check out the official rules
why does the rest of the world not get access to these competitions?
The sweepstakes is open to U.S. residents only due to tax and import/export laws of other countries.
Unfortunately, tax laws and import/export laws vary in all countries so we are unable to open up this contest outside of the United States at this time. We understand the frustration by those of you outside the U.S. We're frustrated ourselves by not being able to open up the contest outside of the U.S., but these restrictions make it very difficult for contests to be opened up internationally. I hope that you all will still tune it to glean the value out of Microsoft webcasts.
