However, I am having a problem with the functionality of downloaded images. I have downloaded approximately 4 iso images in the last week. Mainly Vista, and varying versions of office. Downloads have looked good, I have burned all of them to DVD's and that process looked good. However, I have yet to get a clean install from any disk. Each one will fail with various incoclusive errors basically saying that files are missing, or corrupt. This is actually quite frustrating in that I have paide money to better help me understand and use these products and better troubleshoot them, and all I have accomblished is a whole lot more troubleshooting and a whole lot of wasted time. If anyone could explain what I may be doing wrong or point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

re: TechNet Plus: Patches & File Transfer Manager Download Client

NOT AGAIN! As a TechNet Plus subscriber I am really fed up with the main component of my subscription being faulty.

Please sort this out properly. I do not even get the benefit of an error code at all. Just a dialogue box saying my if I am running XP or MS Server 2003 Blah Blah. I get referred to http://transfers.ds.microsoft.com

to resolve the problem. This learned document tells me to create a folder for my downloads. Run FTM (WHICH IS THE ONE THING I CANNOT DO!) select options blah blah. I tried for the umpteenth time to download and Lo and behold a FTM Version 5 was given to me as a download. So it was all backwards but we got there in the end.:~)

re: TechNet Plus: Patches & File Transfer Manager Download Client

I have not been able to access downloads on xp x64 using the 64bit browser. If I use the x86 browser and sign in before clicking on the download link I have no problems.
