T-Shirts Rock!
Wednesday, June 14: These walking billboards of cotton and poly blend are extremely popular with everyone, not just the hard core swag grabbers. I have yet to see someone turn one down or give it back because it's the wrong size. My all time favorite this year also seems to be a well-kept TechEd secret, as all of the folks I've talked to either knew nothing about them or thought you had to buy and/or pre-order them. I'm here to set the record straight... All attendees can pick up the really sexy black "official" TechEd 2006 ringer-style T-shirt (brought to you by EMC2) with white trim on the collar and sleeves, by heading over to the Info Center on level 1 (near the Microsoft Company Store) and a simple swipe of your attendee badge.
Some of the best, funniest, and most inappropriate of the other shirts I've seen are from: TechNet Webcasts (community & Learning area) they have a super stylish black shirt with the words "Is your network up today? You're Welcome" across the chest; The Training Camp (booth 750) with their gray shirt proclaiming that "IT Pros Mount Better"; and Quest Software (booth 701) with another, because we all love 'em, black shirt that has a lightning bolt and "Extend This." on the front AND the added bonus that, if you are spotted wearing it on the expo floor Thursday afternoon, you could win a total of $10,000 dollars cash (I am totally expecting a sea of thousands of lightning bolts tomorrow).
