IDC conducted a web survey of approximately 1,600 IT executives from the U.S., Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Mexico, and Hungary to quantify and describe the services opportunities for desktop deployments, with a focus on Windows XP and Office 2003. The study (requires Adobe Reader to view) addresses the current challenges companies are facing in desktop deployments, what services they are purchasing from external providers, and from which types of channel partners they are most likely to purchase deployment services.
