How will the licensing work for R3? Will we need to purchase the server licenses again or can it be upgraded? How do the CALs work for R3? Will existing SCCM CALs be OK, or do we need to purchase new CALs too?

jeff here, ConfigMgr 2007 R3 is a SA benefit. That means you need to have a Software Assurance license agreement to have access to the build

We downloaded and installed the RC but we do not see the reports mentioned in the article. Am I overlooking somethign?

Jeff here - the current beta is the Release Candidate (RC). The next update to that will be the RTM.
